Defence, law enforcement, protective services and their associated industry partners, includes a broad range of organisations that contribute to the maintenance of our national security, ensure the legal rights of individuals/organisations at both a local and national level, and provide support to the civil community as required.

 This sector includes government defence and law enforcement organisations requiring basic through to advanced training in areas such as legislation, processes or equipment. It also includes private organisations requiring training solutions for the equipment and services they provide to the defence and law enforcement sectors.

Driven by the national interest, these organisations strive to deliver the products and services they provide in the most efficient and effective manner to optimise productivity, competitiveness and quality of service. While procedural improvements and technology make a contribution to this process, the key to success is the associated training of Defence and law enforcement personnel.

MMCLD has a long history of working with Defence and law enforcement and has accumulated significant experience in a range of training services across the sector. Our corporate capability is built to support the discrete requirements of this sector including security programs and staff clearances, and certified management and IT systems.

Australian Army

MMCLD began working with the Australian Army in 1995 with the first eLearning package to be integrated within the ADEL Doctrine library.  A number of these courses won awards including a Federal Technology In Government Award.

MMCLD has continued to support the Australian Army in many other training packages including the following:

  • Basic training

  • Weapons systems

  • Legal pre-deployment training

  • Application development to support Army program

Royal Australian Navy

MMCLD has developed many training packages and simulators for the Royal Australian Navy both directly and indirectly via Defence prime integrators.  One of our largest projects has been the Air Warfare Destroyer program which saw the design and development of hundreds of hours of specialised operator and maintainer training.

MMCLD has also designed and developed Navy courseware for:

  • Deployment training

  • Weapons Training

Royal Australian Air Force

MMCLD has developed many hours of training for the Royal Australian Air Force. In some cases our work has commenced with preliminary Training Needs Analysis followed by courseware design and development.

The outcomes have included Air Force training packages in:

  • Strategic Base Ops training

  • Flight Operations training

Defence Organisation

MMCLD has worked closely with the broader Defence organisation since 1995, supporting the training for Defence civilians and uniform personnel through activities including contributing to the establishment of the CAMPUS Learning Management System.

We have designed and developed courseware for the Defence organisation in areas such as:

  • ERP systems training

  • Mental health training

  • Logistics Training

  • Policy Training

  • ·Security Training

The law enforcement and protective services industry includes private and government sponsored organisations such as:

  • Local, State and Federal Police Officers

  • Security Detachments

  • Coast Guard

  • Border Protection
